Seer's Rite enables us to wake up our ability to see further than the usual, into more subtle dimensions. To experience the extraordinary and to connect with the invisible world around ourselves.
This initiation establishes neural connections between the visual cortex, the third eye and the heart. In this way, our ability to perceive subtle energies is awakened along with the ability to look at the world through the eyes of love and compassion.
Shadows and projections
In order to be able to truly see and experience subtle dimensions through our inner vision, we must first look deep within ourselves, into our own shadows. Shadows are the aspects we keep hidden, even from ourselves. They can be individual, family, collective aspects that are deep in our psyche. We don't want to see them because we are terrified of their strength and power.
The shadow contains not only the "ugly" and the dark (the dark side of the shadow), but also various gifts (the light side of the shadow). Sometimes we hide our own Shadows so well that we only see them in others. We project them on everyone around us, on people with whom we are in close contact as well as on random people passing by through our lives. We do not notice that it is our own shadow that follows us everywhere we go and wants to be seen.
The dark side of our Shadow has an exceptional power of seduction. It talks about the potential we have to be brutal, that we are capable of harming others. The dark side of the shadow is usually covered with a veil of 'goodness'. The people we should fear the most are those who say they could never harm anyone and that they are so full of love and divine light that they are simply incapable of causing pain to anyone or anything.
If we have to talk about how good we are, we are already seduced. We can give good to the world without emphasizing it and bragging about it. There is no 'good' and 'evil' force in the Cosmos. What kind of 'good' force can be seduced by 'evil'?
Once we become aware of our dark shadow side and capacity to be brutal, once we see and integrate it as part of ourselves, we become more free to choose peace. We can sit with a sword on our lap and choose not to use it, we are free to choose peace.
Then our dark side becomes a source of light, we have the possibility to reach for our gifts, our own and the gifts of our ancestors. We become Seers through expanded perception and senses. We open ourselves to the ability to see beyond what is visible on the surface and develop the ability to see into subtler dimensions, into the invisible.
